UNITI expo welcomes new patron for its 2022 edition

Daniela Kluckert, State Secretary of the Federal State Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Traffic of Germany, is the patron of UNITI expo 2022

[ 1 April 2022] – UNITI expo continues to prepare for its return next May 17-19 by announcing its new patron, Daniela Kluckert, State Secretary of the Federal State Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Traffic of Germany. This is testament of the support and confidence the German government has bestowed on the leading European trade fair for the retail petroleum and car wash industries for its comeback. With her patronage, the trade fair will celebrate its return to Messe Stuttgart after a long  break.

“We are very pleased to welcome Daniela Kluckert as our new patron for this year’s edition. To have the backing of the German government once again is especially important for UNITI expo after this long break. With her support and insights, we are better prepared at the fair to tackle the challenges of the future, such as the energy transition and the transformation of stations, and start building a path towards establishing a climate and environmentally friendly mobility system,” says Elmar Kühn, Managing Director of UNITI-Kraftstoff GmbH, organizer of the trade fair.

As State Secretary of the Federal State Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Traffic, Kluckert embodies UNITI expo’s commitment with the future of the industry to showcase the latest technologies and innovations that can pave the way to the mobility of the future. Understanding the needs and trends of today is crucial for building a better tomorrow for everyone, which includes the transformation of petrol stations into mobility stations, the digitalization of the sector and the use of sustainable fuels. Apart from suppliers showcasing their latest developments and products at the fair, a dedicated pavilion for Alternative Fuels will showcase the present and future of the transport sector – from biofuels to electro-mobility, from hydrogen to the promising e-fuels or synthetic fuels. The conference program will also take a look into the future with presentations on global trends, digitisation and sustainability.

“The Ministry's participation brings us not only a great pleasure but an incentive for us as organizers to further develop the trade fair by working to promote a close dialogue with business and politics,” confirms Elmar Kühn.

Trade visitors from all over the world can discover the latest concepts and technologies at UNITI expo. All major players in retail petroleum and car wash industries are represented at the expo and offer professionals the ideal platform to exchange information on current developments and innovations and to make valuable contacts.
