Our Mission: Hydrogen Infrastructure

Nikolas Iwan, Managing Director
H2 MOBILITY Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG Details

One way of making mobility locally emission-free is to use hydrogen. When used with a fuel cell to drive an electric engine, hydrogen produces neither climate-damaging CO2 nor nitrogen oxides (NOx) that are known to damage the environment and be harmful to human health. By 2018/2019 as many as 100 hydrogen stations across Germany should provide the world’s biggest network. By 2023/24 up to 400 hydrogen stations are planned as part of the second extension phase. Like conventional vehicles, hydrogen-powered cars simply fill up at the service station: with the current standard established in Germany it takes about three minutes to fill the tank. Wherever possible, our hydrogen stations will be integrated into existing conventional petrol stations.

The future of LNG & CNG in Europe’s roads

Michael Schaarschmidt, Head of Product Management CNG-LNG Services
Zukunft ERDGAS Details
