With three specialised forums, high-profile speakers and a broad thematic focus, Europe’s leading trade fair for the service station and car wash industries offers valuable insights into new success strategies for the market.

[31 March 2026] – On 19 – 21 May 2026, UNITI expo will once again transform Stuttgart into the international meeting point for the service station and car wash sectors. The three dedicated forums — UNITI expo Forum, Carwash Forum and International Forum — have become a defining element of the trade fair. Their proven open-access concept attracted more than 2,500 professional attendees to the conference programme at UNITI expo 2024, and will again enrich the exhibition experience in 2026.

Located at the heart of the exhibition halls, each forum provides space for knowledge exchange, industry dialogue and insights into the trends shaping tomorrow’s mobility ecosystem. Visitors can join all presentations and roundtables without prior registration or additional tickets. Experts from leading companies and associations will highlight current developments, regional dynamics and emerging technologies relevant to each themed area.

UNITI expo Forum (Hall 1)
As the largest stage of the trade fair, the UNITI expo Forum will once again spotlight major topics around shop and convenience, the latest fuel retail developments and the mobility needs of tomorrow. Attendees can expect sessions exploring trends impacting the entire sector.

Reflecting the increasingly international scope of the Shop & convenience segment at UNITI expo, the organisers have established a new collaboration with UK-based media partner Insight Research.

“I am very pleased to have been invited to organise and moderate two panel discussions at UNITI expo, which will also be filmed,” says Dan Munford, CEO of Insight Research. “The first session will focus on the future of AI, the second on the future of mobility and convenience. Some of the world’s leading retailers and suppliers will be joining us. All presentations will take place in German or English, with simultaneous translation available in both languages.

Carwash Forum (Hall 3)
At the Carwash Forum, the spotlight is on the latest trends in the global car wash industry. Forward-looking presentations will cover new technologies, evolving business models and regional market developments. Operators will gain valuable insights, including best practice examples from ongoing digitalisation efforts across the sector. Once again, the Bundesverband Tankstellen und Gewerbliche Autowäsche (BTG) will support the Carwash Forum by moderating the sessions as well as sharing own insights with a presentation of their own.

All sessions will be held in German or English, with simultaneous translation.

International Forum (Hall 5)
The International Forum will address the most important global trends and developments in the mobility sector, with presentations covering service station technology, payment innovations and alternative fuels. Each day of the event will focus on one key theme:

• The Hybrid Energy Era. Exploring the interaction of different technologies such as EV charging, hydrogen and sustainable fuels.
• The Digital Transformation of Mobility Stations. Featuring topics such as AI agents, system integration and smart data use.
• Challenges from Around the World. International perspectives on global mobility developments.

Discussions and presentations from leading international associations will be a key part of the programme. Given the strong participation from Latin America and Spain, all sessions will be conducted in English or Spanish, with simultaneous translation.
